Utagawa Hiroshige was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist who was active in the mid-19th century. His work is characterized by its attention to detail and realism, as well as its use of color and composition. Hiroshige was also highly influential in the development of the ukio-e style, and his prints continue to be popular and widely recognized today.
